He also serves as President of Leaders We Deserve, a PAC committed to electing young, next-generation leaders to state and federal legislatures. RI Freedom to Read Act - Committee Hearing

The House RI Freedom to Read bill has been scheduled for committee hearing Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Rise of House (4:45 - 5:00 PM) in room Room 101 at the Rhode Island State House

You can submit written testimony AND testify in person so we are encouraging everyone to at least submit written testimony…..BUT…. we’d also love for you to show up at the statehouse on Thursday!  

Written testimony must include 

  • Your name (and organization if you are writing on behalf of one)

  • The bill number (Freedom to Read Act H5726) 

  • Your position (for/against/neither) *a FOR stance is for the Freedom to Read - we want this bill to pass!

Support Immigrants! Fight Racism! Meet on the steps of Newport City Hall to support the immigrant community who are a vital part of Newport. They are our neighbors, friends, classmates, and co-workers. Show them how much they are valued. There will be a collection of non-perishable food items for the MLK Food Bank.
